Gemma will be playing a couple gigs in August. The first is at Féile an Phobail at the Bank Square Marquee in Belfast, a double headline with Michelle Shocked on August 1st. The following week she’ll be playing at the Mariner in Bantry with Ann Scott supporting. Please see the tour page for more details.

On June 13th at Kilcoran Lodge Hotel, Co. Tipperary, Gemma joins Force Ten along with many other acts in raising money for South Tipperary Hospice. Playing a half hour set, Gemma and Force Ten trash out songs from the Buzzcocks, Reckless Eric, The Pretenders and a few of Gemma’s own. It’s gonna be a great night and all for a good cause. Mark Linkous died on Saturday March 6th from a gunshot wound to the heart. Mark was so beautiful. He was my friend and I loved him to the core. His death is devastating and hard to comprehend.

Hi Everyone.

A very kind, warm hearted, talented man died on February 11th. He created from his heart by using his hands a magical studio in France called Black Box. It is here that so many musicians like myself were able to write and record our music in the most awe inspiring of settings. Iain Burgess was truly extraordinary.
